2025 Whitehouse ISD School Funding Election.

Salaries for teachers • Student safety programs
Small class sizes • College preparation & career training
With a lower property tax bill for homeowners.

An important message from Superintendent Dr. Casey Whittle:

“When it comes to managing Whitehouse ISD schools, district leaders have for generations turned to our families for input. With this commitment to community expectations, our Board of Trustees voted to place a Voter Approval Tax Rate Election – also known as a School Funding Election on the November ballot.

Our Trustees made this decision after talking to parents, grandparents, and taxpayers to determine the best ways to enhance teacher salaries and support academic offerings, job training programs, and classroom safety efforts, among other initiatives.

If voters approve the School Funding Election to increase our property tax rate by four pennies, our rate will still be 45¢ lower than in 2018. With our efficient management and the increase in the homestead exemption, the average property tax bill would be almost $250 less than last year.

Please take a moment to be an informed voter by reviewing the facts on this website about the School Funding Election, which many Texas districts have already approved. See you at the polls in November!”
